Lola’s a devotee of the rabbit organ dog treats but tried the ears and feet today! Love our carnivorous girlies 💖 The market was so fun yesterday- Love engaging & communing & talking about the magic rabbits offer us!!! A fricassée is a method of browning meat in butter then adding a cooking stock to make a stew. It’s adapted to many different cuisines & cultures from the French with a white wine reduction, Appalachians with fried rabbit & a cream sauce over mashed potatoes, & Caribbeans with ginger & spices over rice & peas. The offal treats went fast & won’t be restocked before the June market but the feet/ears stock is replenished. 💖 Our first market was a success! We learned that @montavillamarket is “the market for babies & dogs”!!! Thank you to our friends who stopped in & for the many new people we met. Talking with people about what they planned to cook was really special. Breeding & raising & loving these rabbits & then talking about what honor they’re given by your preparation made Harvey weepy!!! Anya walked David Moscow through the process & Harvey provided lots of emotional support (big ex-social worker vibes). Fun! We were on tv talking about eating rabbit! That’s sick!!!
